The Rowhaus is a beautifully-constructed, unique living area, built using traditional boat-building craftsmanship. It is a useful and valuable enclosed space as well as being an eye-catching feature on any property. It is modelled on a clinker boat, as seen on the beaches of the Western Isles.
Made with Oak transom, doors and frame with Ash backbone, keel and
stem, the planking is Sitka Spruce if you prefer a painted finish or Cedar for a natural finish that mellows to a silvery gray. The stem and keel have a copper covering. It can be made with hardwood or softwood flooring and the paint used is the Butinox 3 paint system colour of your choice, giving eight years of protection against the elements. The windows are made with toughened glass.
It measures from 3m x 2m x 2m and can be made up to a length of 10m if requested. Woodburner and electricity also available.
The wonderfully adaptable Rowhaus has many uses, you might like to use it as a studio, a playroom, an office or bedroom, to name but a few. It is on castors, so you can change its location at your leisure. Interior furniture, fixtures and fittings can be made to order so that your Rowhaus fulfills its potential with all the style and functionality you could wish for.
